Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all transactions between RFA and you as our client for any sale of goods. The governing law shall be New Zealand Law.




All Rembrandt product comes with a standard 12 month limited warranty*

Artsome leather comes with a 1 year warranty on Leather & Stitching with 5 year on the Frame.

*warranty does not cover products in a commercial environment.

Acceptance of terms and conditions

By using the website, registering as a member on RFA.co.nz, purchasing goods or subscribing to our newsletters, you accept the terms and conditions listed below. 


You are responsible for all actions taken with your user name, email address and password. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your account details to any third parties. 


By viewing the pages or placing orders on this website, any purchase is at your sole risk, and you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these disclaimers. The information on this website is provided for general information only, and for the benefit of users in good faith and with all possible care. RFA does not accept any liability for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any opinion, information, advice, representation or omission contained on our website, email messages or by our staff. 

The Consumer Guarantees Act

All products are supplied on a wholesale basis for the purpose of reselling. 


While every endeavour has been made to supply accurate information, errors and omissions may occur. Accordingly, you agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, any and all liability and responsibility of RFA to you or any other person is excluded regardless of whether such liability arises in contract, tort (including negligence), equity, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.

RFA liability and responsibility is excluded in respect of any and all loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business or anticipated savings, general and special damages, and consequential and incidental loss. 


You agree to release, indemnify and keep indemnified RFA from and against all actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses), losses, proceedings, damages, liabilities, or demands suffered or incurred by you.

If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.

Please note that you may have additional rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. 


The names of actual companies and products mentioned on the website may be the trademarks of their respective owners. No association or partnership with any company, organisation, product, person, or event is intended or should be inferred. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. 

Product descriptions, images and errors

We try our best to describe our products as accurately as possible, however due to different lighting conditions, colours may appear different. Items may appear larger or smaller in pictures, so please refer to the size or measurement in product descriptions. 

Out of stock items

Stock levels are updated regularly, but in some cases we will not be able to supply all items on your order. We will remove the out of stock items from your order and ship the remaining items. You will only be charged for the items that are shipped. 

Loss or Damage of Goods in Transit

All items purchased from RFA are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. All items are securely packaged and any damaged parcels should be brought to the attention of the courier on receipt. Please ensure you select "Signature Required" for delivery to ensure your order is not left unattended. In all cases we will provide a tracking / reference number once we ship your product. For missing parcels please contact the courier company directly stating your reference number. *Non-signature deliveries or asked to leave are at your own risk*

Please ensure we have your correct delivery address as we can not replace items due to wrong or missing address details.

Please inspect deliveries as they arrive, check for damaged packaging & then sign. 
If deliveries are signed for in good condition we cannot raise a claim with carrier which will result in a declined GRA. 



We will fully refund you on any returned item/s at our discretion if for any reason you are dissatisfied with the item/s you have purchased from us, providing that:

The product has not been used.

The product has not been damaged.

The returned product is accompanied by the original receipt.

The product is returned to us in its original undamaged packaging.

The product must be returned within 7 days of receipt.

Freight charges when returning goods are the responsibility of the Customer.

Some items may incur a 15% restocking fee, please contact us before returning any items.

We will provide a credit for any short deliveries. Once your order has been lodged for delivery we cannot cancel or change your order. 


Drop shipping entails extra handling direct to end user, we have an insistence that goods are inspected by the receiver. 

Customer/Receiver must inspect items before signing, if the carrier will not wait then they should not sign. This will enable us to lodge a claim if any damage. 

For clarity with drop shipped items, if they are signed as received in good condition and or received without inspection then any claim will be declined unless it is a manufacturing fault which is covered.

Rural deliveries will incur additional charges. Furthermore, we very are limited in this capacity. Once handed over from our carrier (NZ Couriers) & onboard with rural courier carrier that carriage is deemed complete, meaning we cannot claim for any breakages or claims. Unfortunately, the cost will be solely your own to replace any damaged rural items.

No returns are accepted because of a “change of mind”.



All product prices are GST exclusive. Orders delivered outside New Zealand will be GST free, but customs duties may be applicable in your country. 

Updating Your Personal Details

You can update your personal information and contact details at any time, by logging in to our website and selecting the "Account Details" menu option. Upon request we will provide a copy of information kept.

If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our website periodically.
